May is a month dedicated to honouring the Blessed Virgin Mary.
This initiative provides a meaningful opportunity for the faithful to support Catholic education and instil a sense of prayerfulness in the hearts of children.
Each donation of €50 ensures that a selected primary school receives a comprehensive Rosary Pack that includes rosary beads and educational materials about the Mysteries of the Rosary, as well as educational and enriching Catholic videos and leaflets.
Aidan Gallagher, CEO of EWTN Ireland, expressed the importance of this initiative, stating, “For several years now, this new way of introducing the Rosary to schools has proved very successful, where each donation we receive of €50 helps us give Rosary Beads & Catholic materials to a primary school. By gifting a Rosary Pack, we are not just providing resources; we are nurturing a culture of prayer and reflection among our young people throughout the country. This sort of prayer-focused initiative has been warmly received on previous occasions by supporters of our charity and has received a generous response.”
“We believe that amidst all the challenges presented by the modern world, the pervasive influence of mobile technology, the fact that harmful content can be just a click away for a child, that it is important that our children are grounded in their faith. The Rosary has been a bedrock of Catholic Ireland for generations.”
